Today, I'm proud to join General Petraeus, General Honore and others on Team Rubicon's Board of Advisors and excited to help further their awe-inspiring mission.

We hear about natural disasters and their immediate impact on a daily basis, but when the news trucks leave we forget about how communities are coping in the days after the disaster has passed. I witnessed this first-hand in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Team Rubicon USA is an organization of military vets, first responders and civilian heroes that deploy when disaster strikes and helps communities get back on their feet despite the awful aftermath. They've been around for seven years but their passion for service is timeless and inspiring.
